Instructions:
Have someone in the group randomly pick a page from an A to Z Dottie book and say what that good quality means to him or her.
Example: Kim closes her eyes and randomly flips through pages of “The Good in Me From A to Z, by Dottie” and selects the “Uniting” page. She thinks for a moment and says, “In Japan, team work is very important! I appreciate how everyone is quick to jump in and help. From organizing an event to clean-up afterwards,…” Then, another person in the group shares what uniting means to him or her. Continue in this way until everyone in the group has had a turn to share what this good quality means to them.
Variations:
Here are other questions your group can answer about their “Good in Me Pick”. How have you or someone else practiced this trait? What’s one way you’d like to practice this quality today?
