You’ll need:
• paper
• pencil, crayons, or colorful markers
Instructions:
1. Write your name vertically on a piece of paper.
2. Brainstorm describing words that begin with the different letters of your name. Use “The Good in Me From A to Z, by Dottie”, magazines, or posters to help. For example, if your name is Luis, write L: loving, likeable, lucky U: uniting, unstoppable, unique I: intelligent, interesting, independent S: supportive, super, stupendous, supreme, strong.
3. Then choose one word that best describes you for each letter. So, Luis’ poem would
look like this:
L: loving
U: uniting
I: independent
S: supportive
